Management of Dry Eye Flare

Short-term pulse therapy with corticosteroids can be used to treat flare-ups of DED when symptoms aren’t controlled by other therapies8. Softacort® (0.335% hydrocortisone sodium phosphate, indicated for mild non-infectious conjunctival inflammation, is a low-risk9, effective option for Dry Eye flares with no significant effect9 on intraocular pressure (IOP).
